Michael Oakes

Michael Oakes joined ARW in March 2026 after working in higher education for the better part of a decade. Through student advocacy work both at law school and not, he found a passion for helping those who need it most. Having assisted with a varied amount of legal fields, Michael is happy to have found an area of specialization he’s passionate about. 

 

Michael is also an actor in the city, having been in the Chicago Reader recommended play Ubu The King as well as a successful five week run of his one man show “5 Minutes of Vulnerability”.
